GstarCAD2012 Improves Raster Image Functionality to Bring Work Convenience

Beijing, China: May 8, 2012—Gstarsoft improved its functionality for raster image in GstarCAD2012, aiming at offering work convenience for designers to use or reuse raster images like scanned paper drawings, maps, satellite images, aerial photos and other similar digital data in their design.

Like the previously released versions, raster image functionality allows users to insert and view or display raster image as well as make modifications in their drawings. Users can zoom and pan or drag the image to control. In GstarCAD2012, this function has been enhanced in different aspects to make it more powerful.

Various image formats have been added into GstarCAD2012, including CALS-1 (.cal, .mil), RLC, PICT (.pct/.pict), Autodesk Animator (.fil/.flc). Besides, users’ computer won’t slow down if there are too many insertions of raster images due to the reasons that these images haven’t caused the burden to the system memory. What’s more, this version supports big size raster image insertion and greatly accelerates the uploading speed to preview.

In addition to above mentioned capabilities, another feature of this function in GstarCAD2012 is high-quality printout of drawings containing raster image to different formats like PDF. With print editor, users can adjust the output to their needs, for instance, the formats and size.

Besides raster image manipulation, some other exciting functions are also available such as dynamic block, pline boolean, text incremental copy, etc. To experience these powerful functions can download GstarCAD2012 for free at
