While designing of Pontoon all dead weight of all accessories and dynamic weight in running condition is considered. Life of fabricated pontoon is near about 20-25 years. It can be extended if required by applying proper paint and regular inspection of pontoon. Also the life of pontoon is depend on water condition. Salty water may decrease the life of pontoon.
